ZEROREZ® uses a series of diamond abrasive pads ranging from grit 800 to 11,000 to smooth, hone, and polish natural stone to the desired finish. Honing and polishing is done with water to minimize dust, the slurry is vacuumed off the floor after each pass.
After the stone has been polished to your specification, the final step is to seal the stone with a penetrating sealer. This is applied to the surface, immediately following the final polish. This helps to inhibit the penetration of spilled materials upon initial contact with the stone; however, spills must be cleaned up immediately in order to prevent stains caused by repeat or long term exposure.
A restored surface is easily maintained and will last 4 to 5 times longer than applying an acrylic finish
